A week-long film festival in Worthing focusing on the important topics of Sustainability and Wellbeing

The festival title reflects the focus of protecting our environment (the blue and the green), and the important space we hold between the two. Through the power of film and practical activities will explore the importance of future proofing our environment ensuring the current and future well-being of human beings as guardians.

The festival will comprise of five events:
• Short film competition for filmmakers and screening.
• Children’s film screening /workshop activity.
• Film screening/ beach clean activity.
• Documentary screening with filmmaker Q&A.
• Film screening with well-being focused activity

This festival will highlight media stories to raise awareness and drive change. Audiences will be inspired to act, protect their own well-being and safeguard the environment for future generations.

This festival will be held in an outdoor venue overlooking Worthing beach.

9th Sept

The event will start with a short family friendly film to ignite the thinking around Sustainability. Then we head to the beach for a clean up - will you find any hidden treasures?

10th Sept

Using discarded & scrap materials what will you make? A bug hotel, bee house, bird box? Learn some new skills with hand tools and let your imagination run wild.

The festival showcases a range of short films from talented filmmakers, all with a focus sustainability and well-being.

We'll be showcasing a fascinating Documentary Film that will leave you feeling inspired and enlightened.

Embracing the therapeutic, healing benefits of the ocean, Kalm Horizons combines wave meditation, breath work, aromatherapy, visualization and sound therapy to help people gain more clarity and perspective, soothe stress and sleep more naturally.

Combining simple breathing and mindfulness techniques, this family-friendly session will explore touch, sound, awareness and movement to help ground participants in the present moment and be more mindful.
